Sometimes you feel you are on the top of the world,
with the least of worries,
but someone just slams reality back into your face.
Sometimes you lose track of time,
and go way over due with deadlines or whatsoever.
As a normal human being would do, you’ll try to organize yourself.
However, something just have to be in your way.
Sometimes, you are just too lazy to do anything.
All you want is things to be in front of you,
with the minimum or no effort at all.
But hey, you are no god. That won’t happen.
Sometimes you get stuck in the middle of nowhere.
imagine you missed the last bus or train,
and you are 30 kilometers away from home.
One of the many things you will say is “Oh Shit.”
Sometimes you make the wrong choices.
Results can be fatal be it in an exam or in a game of monopoly.
One wrong choice and you can be thrown into the “fail” category.
One wrong choice and you might be declaring bankrupt on your next turn.
Sometimes it’s worst than flipping the wrong switch.
Sometimes you feel shitty,
you wish you could just turn back time,
and undo things, or even just to say sorry.
Whatever, those little fantasies.
Sometimes things just happen.
and nothing worse can happen to you.
Bird poop in your lunch maybe?
Well, for me, I’ll swallow it down.
not the poop-stained lunch but with all those shit happening around you,
Sometimes it’s best to shut up and drive.
Sometimes you feel incomplete.
That bloody empty space need filling.
Okay, it’s filled. But you still don’t feel it’s enough.
Oh yes, it’s enough alright. You greedy bastard.
Sometimes you feel heavy,
more than just iron shackles at your ankles.
I will agree to the fact that the heaviest weight is,
NO, not the ones on your shoulders, it IS irritating but no it’s not.
It will be the weight in your mind.
1kg up there is like 100kg in physical weight.
Sometimes you feel so distant.
hmmm but wait,
or are they really there in the first place?
Maybe they are just an illusion,
who knows?
Sometimes you want to do so much more.
I can give you advice.
How about starting to work on it,
and stop saying “Sometimes” anymore.
how’s that?
